Josh is set to play the Meads Mini Music Festival in Farnborough, England, on 3 August.
OFFICIAL RELEASE FROM THE MEADS:
If you missed out on Glastonbury this year don’t worry, The Meads is hosting its very own mini music festival right on your doorstep; and you won’t even have to worry about the mud! And have we got a great line up of acts for you, including London Roots from So Solid Crew and Terry Coldwell from East 17 now performing live here at The Meads!
This summer, music takes centre stage at The Meads with something for every musical taste. But it’s not just about the music. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
In true festival style there will be henna tattoos, a hot dog stand, bouncy castle, face painting and balloon modelling from Dali The Clown. And keep your eyes peeled for the Hedge People mingling with the crowds.
The fun begins at 11am with a performance from Gloria Garcia, a Latin pop/soul artist from Rioja, the wine region in Spain, with incredible vocals and stage presence.
We have our very own home grown local band, Scape performing and there’s rapping from E.N.V. A 26 year old Essex born rapper, producer, songwriter and classical pianist E.N.V has recently returned from touring with Radio 1 legend Tim Westwood, performing alongside the likes of Tinie Tempah and Ed Sheeran.
If R&B is more your thing, you’ll love Rajiv. Rajiv is rapidly making waves in the UK music scene. His love of music and his exotic good looks are owed to his Mauritian Father and Trinidadian Mother. After having released his latest single, ‘Catch Me If You Can ft Mr Arch’ – which featured on BBC radio 1Xtra, TV channel AKA and more – Rajiv is currently working on his debut album with award-winning producer, David Brant.
Last but not least, we have the UK’s ‘next generation boy band’, Class A live on stage. Already a success in the European and American charts, Class A is set to take the nation by storm in 2013. The boys hail from a variety of musical backgrounds and with their infectious melodies, bold harmonies and smouldering good looks we’re sure they will be a huge hit with music lovers of all ages.
